Roanoke Maritime Museum
A quaint little maritime museum about some of the maritime history and events surrounding Roanoke island. It is pretty small even compared to some other maritime museums I have visited, however, the information and displays here are still quite great. It appears to also function as a small workshop, which I would have loved to see in action.

Jennette’s Pier
This is the first pier I have ever had to pay to go on but since the proceeds go to the aquarium I didn’t mind the fee. The view is spectacular and my kids really enjoyed all the sites. If you visit here I HIGHLY suggest taking the elevator to the second floor. No one was upstairs and we were able to take some great pics. If you’re in the area I think it’s absolutely worth it to take a walk out here.
