The Jolly Roger Restaurant
On our first trip to the Outer Banks we decided to give this place a try. The building is kind of old and almost looks like several little buildings all hooked together. The interior is old, dark, and small but the atmosphere is cool. The service was awesome. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We got the fried and broiled combination plates. There was so much food we made two meals out of it. The price wasn’t bad at all either. I would totally recommend this little “hole in the wall” and will be back on our next trip to Kill Devil Hills.

We came in on a Monday around lunchtime and were able to get a table right away. The gentleman at the front was friendly. The service was great. The food came out quick. The bacon cheeseburger was good you could tell they used fresh ground beef. The fish and chips were good, too. Fish was lightly breaded with a golden tint. The hand cut French fries were yummy. All in all, good restaurant is worth a try.
