Visiting the Outer Banks in March can be a bit tricky navigating the hit-or-miss weather. But my teenager, our puppers, and myself took the risk for his spring break however, knowing it would be a very different type of beach vacation than in the heat of summer. It was cold, it was windy, and it was WONDERFUL!! I picked Brittany’s place because it looked so very warm and cozy if we had to stay in a bit due to the weather and it DID NOT disappoint! And the windows!! Everywhere! And though you are not directly on the water, it is close enough to HEAR and SMELL the ocean with enough view through the dunes and minimal houses. And seriously, just steps to the beach, no exaggeration like some other listings. It is obvious someone took the time and care to renovate this place for a modern yet warm and inviting feel. And the kitchen! Gorgeous! And loaded with everything you could possibly need. Oh and soo dog friendly!! They thought of everything! The Outer Banks are a special place…
