Highly recommend staying here! The house was perfect for our party of 5 adults and 1 toddler. Everything was very clean, great water pressure in the showers, all the amenities you need. Walkable location to shops, restaurants and to the beach (or grab one of the many available bikes and ride to the beach). We loved all the extras for the beach that the house provides such as nice beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach cart to carry all items, toys, etc. We would 100% stay here again and again!

Another great vacation at Duckin’ Out!

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We really enjoyed the pool, the outdoor shower, and the bean bag toss. It’s so appreciated that the home has new fun things added since our last stay here all while being meticulously maintained. The landscaping brought so many hummingbirds that we enjoyed from the front porch and my husband and kids took turns enjoying quiet time in the hammock out back. We stayed during hurricane Erin and were never bored inside and made some great meals in the well-equipped kitchen!

What a great house! First, the location is perfect being halfway between the beach and town. Secondly, the house is very nicely decorated and outfitted. The kitchen is very well stocked, the furniture is very comfortable and the front and back decks are great. The pool is wonderful and the addition of for hole is certainly fun. The house also comes with 6 bikes (4 adult and 2 kid bikes), a bike trailer to take beach gear down to the beach, and 8 beach chairs and other sundry items. Overall, this really is a great place for a great beach vacation.

This was our third summer with our family at Duckin’ Out. We love the location and easy access to the beach and to downtown Duck and the sound. We appreciate the fully stocked kitchen, the pool, and the beach gear- bikes, chairs, boogie boards, etc! The house is cozy and we love it. Brittany is always responsive and helpful if we need anything! Already looking forward to next year.

Great stay!

Another great week here! The amenities are better than expected, the location perfect between beach and shops/restaurants. Super clean and above average for comfort. It’s so nice to have the bikes available and the new area under the deck to chill in the hammock was a great addition!

A wonderful house that felt like home away from home just a short walk from the beach and Duck. Communication with host was no problem and all was as advertised/exceeded our expectations. House was spacious and well-equipped with everything we could possibly need and the outdoor spaces (porch, deck, pool, sand area) were all so nicely maintained. The pool was wonderful and the pool and beach toys were a big hit for our 2year old. We hope to return next year!

This house was perfect for the week! Walkable to the beach, to restaurants, duck donuts, the boardwalk. Super convenient! The house had everything you could think of, we so appreciated the stocked kitchen, it made cooking at the house so easy. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and labled so it was easy to find. We had the best time!

An absolutely wonderful place - very comfortable & fun beach decor ! Very well stocked & appliances are all new . Great screened in porch , decks & loved the pool . The location is perfect between the beach & shops . My grandchildren had a ball as did the grownups - everything was perfect and we hope to come back ! Thank you !

This was our second time at Duckin’ Out and we just love it. The location is perfect- close to the beach and downtown. They have everything- fully stocked kitchen, bikes and a trailer to haul beach gear, beach items, etc. They have thought of everything in the details to make you feel at home! The pool is so nice after a long day at the beach too! Communication is great and Brittany reached out to let us know the house was ready a bit early- so nice after a long drive with kids. Also, they left the sweetest welcome bag with items for our kiddos that they loved. We are always sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!

Could not be happier with this place. Clean, bright, MUCH larger living space than the pictures made it look, plentiful linens, a pool so lovely that the kids whined about going to the beach, many (many!) helpful labels, a kitchen stocked well enough that we were able to cook 3 meals a day for all the kids without issue. All in all, a perfect stay.

We always vacation in Duck and enjoyed this home very much! It was very spacious and clean. It had everything you could need for your family getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. The rooms had plenty of space with TV’s and fans as well. The pool was refreshing on days you couldn’t battle the waves at the beach. The bikes were nice to have to go to the beach and to go into town. If needed, the host and owners were always available to be reached. I would highly recommend this home to anyone considering this one for a family vacation!

BEST house on the street no doubt. Super easy walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. The house came with EVERYTHING you need…from inside the house to outside the house….kitchen fully equip for making meals, plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, bikes, pool noodles/floats, you name it. Exceptionally clean. First time in Duck and it was nothing less than AMAZING. Book it!

We had the best time at Duckin Out!! The house was fantastic and we especially loved the pool area, the screened in porch, and the wrap around deck. It was also in the perfect location… halfway to Main Street Duck and halfway to the beach access! We will definitely be back next year!!

It was perfect for my 4 young adult children and myself. The space inside allowed for plenty of family time and space for private time. Every amenity you didn’t even know you needed was available. The outdoor space was wonderful. The pool was private and my kids loved the hammock under the house. The bikes and beach chairs were very much appreciated and got a lot of use! It was a very easy bike ride to the beach and also to stores and restaurants. I didn’t realize the space and location would be as amazing as they were and am blown away by our amazing, stress-free vacation. We’re ready to book for next year! Thank you!

This is our second time staying at Duck’n Out. The location is great and the house has everything you would need. It’s very clean and well kept. The pool is a wonderful addition and our kids used it a lot! Brittany was helpful and responsive any time we needed anything. We hope to be back!

We love Duckin’ Out!!! This was our second time here in this home… we loved our stay even more. Close to the beach and town, able to bike everywhere! Lots of beach chairs available and a ton of indoor family games to choose from to play at night or whenever…. No need to bring your own (we have older children)! Also, fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need! Almost forgot to mention the beautiful pool area and, my favorite space- the screened-in porch. We are so happy at this home. I highly recommend!

We love this little spot at Duck. This was our 4th time to enjoy the home, and each time we go, the house has gotten new amenities, great artwork accents, etc. What started out as a place my sister-in-law found for us to take our combined 6 kids for a final summer beach week while the dads stayed home and worked, to bringing back my kids and husband as a family of 6 to enjoy together >> It's always cozy and feels like home, fresh and simple. We all love the bikes to get to and from the beach, plus the ice cream shop in the evening (of course!). From playing one of the many games they have to lounging by the pool when kids are tired of the sand, it's the perfect little summer nook for our family of 6. Thank you!!!

We had a lovely stay in Duck. The house was perfect - easy to walk to the beach or to town and the pool was nice for a quick dip after being at the beach all day. The kitchen had everything we could want. All in all a great stay!

What a fantastic home -- it had everything we could possibly need for our family of 6. (My husband and I + our four teens.) From the bikes and beach chairs to the fully-stocked kitchen, we literally had everything we could possibly need! My husband and I love to cook, and we were impressed by all of the cookware, knives, and other kitchen amenities. We were told ahead of time about a missing remote for the main TV, but we just used our extra Roku stick and it was not an issue. I always appreciate when hosts are proactive about issues like this! Would 100% rent this home again.

This is probably the most well-organized and well-stocked home we have rented. Everything was labeled and the amenities were just as described. The beach gear and bikes and games were in nice shape and the furnishings were so nice. I loved the outdoor shower and hammock and screened porch. It is equal walking distance to both the beach or town, so everyone can do their thing. The location is excellent!

We had the most wonderful stay! The location was perfect, easy walk to restaurants and the beach. The amenities this house offered were amazing!! We loved the Bikes, and they had tons of things to take to the beach with us. The kitchen had more to offer than any place I’ve ever stayed. There was so much to do just at the house, we can’t wait to come back!!!

The house was stocked with everything I could’ve needed. It was clean and more than I expected. The bikes and things for the beach were fantastic. There was only one issued, the pool needed cleaned. There were a lot of leaves under the pool cover and in the drain basket. But once we cleaned them it was very nice. Our host offered to send someone out but we cleaned the leaves out ourselves. Corn hole was equally fun for all of us. I’ll keep this house in mind for next year.

This was one of the most well stocked properties I’ve ever visited. They really have everything you need so I would recommend checking with the owner before packing so you don’t duplicate like I did! The house was super clean, and the owner was very responsive. The location is great, a short 5 minute walk to either the beach OR main Duck area where all the shops and restaurants are. The pool is the perfect ending to a long day at the beach! Would definitely rent again!

This is the most amazing place we’ve stayed at in Southern Shores/Kitty Hawk/Duck area. It is beautifully decorated and styled and extremely clean. Tons of beach towels/chairs/umbrellas/bikes and a cart you can hitch to the bike! Had all the pots/spices/Tupperware you could need. Beds and couch were comfy, the pool was awesome to have since there were red flags for most of our stay. Close to the beach and restaurants, would stay here again 100%.

This is a great house. The location is walkable to nearby stores and restaurants and the beach, and the bikes and beach cart really come in handy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house and pool were very clean and comfortable.

Six of us enjoyed this lovely beach house! The distance from the beach was well-compensated by the house bikes and beach cart. We loved coasting down the street to Duck Donuts and town—very convenient. The kitchen has a nice selection of mugs and dishes, and plenty of T-Fal pots & pans, small appliances, and gadgets. Room for all of us to comfortably sit in the living room. We have stayed in seven Duck beach houses over the years and although not the biggest, this is one of the nicest.

We had never been to OBX and we loved it! The house location was perfect, within walking/biking to great shops, the nature boardwalk, and the beach. The kitchen had every tool we needed for great dinners - including a blender for Margaritas! We were so happy with Duckin’ out!

The location was perfect; walking distance to the beach and to the sweet little town of duck. The pool was lovely, the bikes were really fun to ride around on, the house was lovely. And it was a. Ice layout for two families with kids. We had so much fun.

You will fall in love with the hostess and the house. We took one of our sons and his family to Duck and ALL had a great time. The house was even better than we could have asked for. Rooms were spacious, house well stocked/furnished, and the location was great. The outdoor private pool was a big hit for the grandchildren, and the walking distance to the beach was easy for all. Even walking to the shops just down the street was a short little stroll. House was clean and a nice little welcome package was waiting for us with lots of sweets and goodies. Nice wrapping porch with many areas to sit and chat. Big hit was the outdoor shower. House had games for kids, TV's in all rooms, and the decor was as beachy as you could get. Wonderful furniture to include a very large sectional sofa; all could snuggle and enjoy. Would stay there again for sure. You can't go wrong at this location or with the hostess.

Good location in Duck with all the comforts of home. We had a blast during our week there. The pool was the highlight for my daughters and the screened in porch with ceiling fan was my favorite. Kitchen is well stocked, the beds were comfy and there are plenty of seating options indoors and outside around the deck. This is a well-kept rental and we would definitely visit again.

Awesome house. Brittany provided so many useful articles to make the stay great - beach chairs, bikes, beach towels. Location is great if you are in shape. The walk to the beach is a little far for those who don't walk on a regular basis.
