Perched just one house back from the ocean, with semi-private pedestrian access only 150 feet from the beach, Ridge Retreat II invites you to experience the Outer Banks the way it was meant to be—through long days on the shore and evenings spent on the expansive covered porches, letting the rhythm of the waves and the salty breeze carry your cares away.

This home holds a special place in Outer Banks history, with one of its owners having worked alongside Carolista Fletcher Baum to protect and preserve Jockey’s Ridge from development. Thanks to their efforts, this towering natural wonder—the largest active sand dune on the East Coast—remains a playground for adventure, exploration, and breathtaking sunsets. Today, Ridge Retreat II overlooks this iconic landscape, offering a truly unique setting where history and nature meet.

Instead of a security deposit, we’ve added a non-refundable $75 Waivo Damage Protection Fee under the Management Fee. This covers minor accidental damages, so you won’t be charged for small mishaps like spills or broken items.
