Great location near Dunkin, a local coffee shop, and the beach. Great interior design and renovated bathrooms and kitchen. Spiral staircase and interior balcony were a fun and novel change. Neighbors were friendly and helpful, too.

A beautiful home with all you need within walking distance, close to both the sound and the beach, and many great shops and restaurants. Host is very responsive and friendly. Also a great area to go for a run in the morning with coffee shops 4 mins away by walk.

The location and neighborhood were fantastic
The location and neighborhood were fantastic. Natalie communicated very well and responded in a very timely manner to address the issues that were brought up. My family had a great time in OBX.
Write Off the Beach is conveniently located on a beach access street
Write Off the Beach is conveniently located on a beach access street, with close proximity to grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. The house had enough space for several adults to park and stay comfortably!
Some things that would make the stay even better is if there was a clear list of what to expect and not expect in the house. For example, Natalie was very clear we would not get personal toiletries. However, we were unclear on what kitchen supplies were included as some items were missing (dish sponge, counter cleaner) and others were simply not included (ziplock bags). We communicated with Natalie and she remediated the missing items, but it was frustrating to not have aligned expectations.
Additionally, I think this space is rented week-to-week with very little time to turnover. That means if something breaks or a previous renter is not mindful, you may have to manage that on your vacation. This only manifested in minor issues for us.
All around would recommend and enjoyed!

Natalie’s property was great for us
Natalie's property was great for us! Comfortably fit all of us with no issues. All bathrooms, the kitchen, and the outside closet were stocked with everything we needed to last a little less than a week. Ample parking, a great hot tub, and spacious indoors allowed us a place to chill, get ready, play card games, or cook. Would come here again for another vacation in North Carolina.

Write Off the Beach was a perfect place for our first visit to the Outer Banks. It was roomy and beautifully decorated. The location was a nice, quiet neighborhood with wide paths for walking and biking, but also very close to restaurants and the beach. Natalie was so patient with all of my questions as we dealt with a tropical storm arriving during our stay. We hope to be back again and actually visit the beach.

Natalie’s place was perfect for our family vacation. Location was perfect. A short drive or walk to beach accesses, shops, and restaurants. We highly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back!

The pictures make the place look larger than it actually is.
The spiral staircase is very narrow, which makes it difficult to care stuff up and down. Plus there is a low beam on that stairway which is a head bump hazard. I don't know how it passed building code. Nor should the second floor balcony railings should not have passed building code.
Place was clean and updated. Host communicated well.
