The home is large, on the beach, & has everything you need. Overall, a great older beach house. Cleaning was okay-floor under dining table was pretty gross & had to be swept upon use; A few stained bath towels. A “clean”bed with sand in it- (bedding not changed?) Some safety hazards: closet door in bunk room was off track & when I tried to open fell onto my head. Tried to use the hammock but hooks were rusty; as soon as it was sat on, one hook broke & my son fell. Biggest issue was when I sent message of damaged door hitting me in the head & dirty floor, the only response was “the home is meticulously cared for & cleaned…I hope you have a nice time”. No, “are you okay?” Or “I’m so sorry the door is broken, we will get that fixed”. Just a defensive reply concerning the dirty floor. As if I made it all up (I have photos). Katie is NOT concerned with your safety and will ignore safety concerns brought to her attention, while being immediately defensive if you mention cleanliness.
