This is a sweet little place with just about everything you could want in a beach house. It’s close to the beach, has a game room, hot tub and small pool. We stayed Christmas week and used the hot tub, and with the great weather, it was nice to be within such a short, easy stroll to the beach and to have front and back decks to enjoy depending on the breeze. It was nice to have plenty of dishes, glasses and cutlery for our group and we certainly got good use out of having 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators. We set up a coffee and drinks stations in one of the kitchen/den areas and that worked well for us. There were enough indoor and outdoor spaces for our group to both congregate and spread out. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. All the bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash, no need to bring any of that. One tip is to thoroughly look through cabinets and closets to assess what’s provided. We sorely missed having a hamper to use for the laundry but found one in a bedroom closet the morning we were checking out! The Kitty Hawk area is a bit busy but the home is on a quiet street with very little traffic. We very much enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and convenient home.
